Peaceful Lambs

During this year, I discovered my love for painting whimsical little sketches of stuffed animals. I was hanging out with two of my artist friends, Hannah and Patience. Patience had set up a traditional still life consisting of a basket full of red apples. I was extremely bored with the chosen subject matter. Meanwhile, I saw an adorable duck stuffie belonging to one of her little siblings. I decided to paint that instead. From there, I had her kiddo siblings show me their huge stuffie collection. I photographed a ton of them, and from there the “Stuffie Collection” was born.
