Crazy patch

I was experimenting with abstract art during this time, and fell in love with a patchwork look. This is one of two patchwork pieces remaining from this time. I remember discovering the magic of transparent glazing with this painting. The colors were not jiving well, and I did a simple glaze over the entire piece. The results blew my mind :)
