If Only She Could See

In December 2022 I got super inspired to create another mental health collection. This time, it would feature portraits. I did about a half a dozen sketches in preparation, but then I got distracted, or got cold feet…not entirely sure. Anyway, this is the only painting that got finished so far. Perhaps I will revisit it in the future. Everyone sees a little different story in this painting. For me, I see a sad girl who is very much engulfed in her inner world. All around her there are beautiful things happening, but she is unable to see or feel them.
